Also tidied up how STRIDE and USE_ALL_DATA works for analysis
objects.  Now everything works in a manner similar to GRID

Changes were also needed as this feature was broken as a consequence
of changes in no-buffer branch.  Change to dynamic list deletes
a check that is active when you compile with -DNDEBUG that is not really needed

command line tools easy to document in the same manner as Actions are
easy to document

It is now possible to use a common trajectory.

regarding weights

This is just to debug functions with change their argument list
on the fly

In this manner single and double precision tests give
consistent results.

So that it is possible to specify both the timestep and the stride
(in steps) between frames
