After clicking "Cancel" in the "Compute new measurements" window, calculations are still carried out

1. Open a project with segmented image(s).
2. Go to the Measurements tab, click "Compute new measurements".
3. Select a region and a measurement (e.g. body, Area), click "Assign".
4. Click "Cancel". Unexpectedly, computations take place and the results appear in the table.

This also happens when the "Compute new measurements" window is closed with the "X" button.
